Eligibility Criteria for McGill University Scholarships in Canada:
- Students from all over the world can apply for the scholarship
- a bachelor’s degree in a field closely related to the field chosen for graduate study, or an equivalent degree recognized by McGill University.
- For the Master’s program at McGill, a four-year degree in the relevant field from an approved university is required, unless otherwise noted. The successful completion of a master’s degree program in a relevant discipline at a reputed institution is a requirement for admission to a PhD program.
- The cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for the last two years of full-time study must be at least 3.0 out of 4.0, or 3.2 out of 4.0. (GPA). Nonetheless, other schools have higher CGPA standards for admission. Check your program’s help screen name of your program’s.

- Proficiency in English: McGill’s main language of instruction is English. Unless learning English is one of the course objectives, you are free to write your exams, essays, and dissertations in French.
